The Best Crew Award has been presented annually to a member organization of the Winona Peach Festival since 2001. Past Winners Link

Originally established as the Carol A. Wallace Memorial Award, the name was amended in 2025 to the George and Carol Wallace Memorial Award following George’s passing.

George and Carol were both highly active and dedicated volunteers who contributed many years of service to the Festival. George was an incorporating member of the Peach Festival and also served as a Past President. Their daughter, Karen, proudly continues the family tradition by volunteering at the Festival.

The selection committee seeks to recognize a “crew” that actively engages with customers, patrons, and fellow volunteers, while demonstrating enthusiasm and genuine enjoyment of the Festival experience.
